What Is Daxxify?

Daxxify uses a purified botulinum toxin type A protein, which is used in other injectable neurotoxins. When injected, Daxxify temporarily blocks the nerve signals to the target muscles, reducing their contraction to soften expression lines.

What distinguishes Daxxify from the other neurotoxins is that the toxin it uses to prevent the nerve signals from reaching the muscles and causing them to contract is attached to a protein. As a result, it prolongs Daxxify’s effects on the injected muscles.

Daxxify has the distinction of being the first injectable neurotoxin formulation stabilized by a novel peptide. This means it does not use animal or human byproducts.

Ideal Candidates

People who have been using Dysport or Botox are ideal candidates for Daxxify, as well as those who do not respond well to Botox or similar products. The treatment is safe for anyone who does not have botulinum toxin allergies. Candidates must be in good health; must have no skin outbreak, infection, or rash in the treatment area; and must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
